Here are some new photos of recent work. I’ve been hand-carding merino wool with lots of other elements that often include silk fiber, baby camel, yak, wool locks, alpaca, strips of fabric — vintage silks, hand-dyed silks, vintage prints and even strips of Barkcloth. Then I’m spinning these fibers into yarn and crocheting the yarn, sometimes connecting it to felt yardage I’ve designed to match the yarn. The resulting scarves are airy, soft, and lustrous. Tags and curls and twists create lots of movement and texture… hope you enjoy the photos!
